V1,

Others panic creates opportunity... With the hundreds of millions raised the sector has never been in better shape. Flush with cash and on the precipice of huge discoveries and new compounds that will generate billions the opportunities are enormous. I couldn't be more excited.

Very true. And I kept going to that philosophy today as I made several buys (atypical for me lately), including two from your list: MMP and NPSP

All the rest are on my list but as you say,

after we pay Uncle Sam where do we get the money?

In fact, I wonder if that didn't drive part of today, along with margin calls. Too many people been playing it too close to the line?

The shame is that biotechs got taken down with the .coms. One has been trading on the basis of a virtual pyramid scheme, while the other at the end of the day still owns products, candidates and technology that will dramatically lenghthen, improve and change our lives, literally. I'll sleep fine tonight.

V1 and others, based on this spring's run up in biotech it may not seem like a good idea, but with the future bound to be a bit more muted adding to these positions and selling out of the money calls is a great strategy IMO. Buy INCY in the 80's for instance and sell 100% out of the money calls for $10? Or be more conservative and get greater protection with still tons of upside. Same in SEPR, you are now being paid nicely for selling premium in the sector.
