Dear Eric: I totally, totally agree.

"We will survive this downdraft. The world is not coming to an end.

This is a great company and I'm sure not selling!"

Around 3 p.m. I decided to get out of the house and go to the supermarket not because I needed anything but so that I would get into the "real" world and away from the temptation of following the market either via my PC or by turning on the TV [which I usually do not do during the day]. While the stock market was plumeting, life was going on as usual. Chatting with some A&P employees I have gotten to know, "the market" did not get mentioned.

One my way home, I stopped by Cumberland Farms (like 7-11) for a soda. The store was **packed** and again, I did not hear anyone comment on the stock market's decline.

I'm healthy. My friends and family are healthy. The forsythia are in bloom and buds are forming on the trees. Taking a good look at my lawn, I'm going to call the lawn service tomorrow morning and let them know they can start cutting the grass next week. Yes, Eric, life does go on whether the stock market races to the sun or drops like a rock.

> P.S. If people sell here they are really stupid!

> Just my 30+ years of experience speaking!

You said it and second your statements. I did not sell anything during or right after Black Monday and I was not even tempted to sell anything today, on Compazine Friday. Actually, I have not even checked the prices of anything today!

Regards,

Lynn
