IBM Adds Websphere Payment Manager to AS/400 E-Business Arsenal SOMERS, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2000-- Delivers Payment Hosting Capabilities and New Features for Merchants IBM today announced new software for the AS/400 that enables service providers to quickly and easily link merchants to payment processors to handle complex e-commerce transactions. IBM's WebSphere Payment Manager for the AS/400 version 2.1 offers payment hosting capabilities for AS/400 Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) who want to begin renting applications to customers over the Internet. Pricing and Availability WebSphere Payment Manager version 2.1 for AS/400 is available in North America today, and will be available worldwide on April 28.
