Heinz: Another excellent post! The way I see it the NAZ bubble has been the prime rocket fuel for the economy. When the bubble deflates the economy will slow and old economy firms will be hurt. The extreme leverage in the system could bring the economy down faster than many think. That probably is why the old economy stocks joined the NAZ on the downside today. The old economy stocks are far from cheap if we are headed for a recession or a something close.
