>> .what do you think the chances are that CSCO will get cut in half from here so I can buy it again?

After looking at a couple hundred charts today, I think the rebound will come very soon. Like next week. I personally wouldn't buy these 50+ P/E stocks, but I think plenty of other people will. My scenario for next week is:

Today the Asian markets crash. Monday the European markets crash. The US market will experience a ton of margin calls. Because today's drop was deeper than last week's darkest moment. So it will ensnare some people who were on the edge last week, but were spared due to the intra-day turn-around on Tuesday April 4. And of course the buyers know this. There is no reason to rush in to buy first thing on Monday. The retail brokers will be busy selling out their customers accounts.

But I think the selling pressure will reach a max on Late Monday or Tuesday. And then your Cisco will be at the best price. After that good stocks (with earnings) should stabilize, and the vapor stocks should continue to vaporize.
And so after $3 trillion of market cap disappear, we will return to a rational market. I hope.
