NI, The only differences I can think of are: 1. Our monetary policy is much worse than the Japanese. Remember, they had trade and budget surpluses when their market collapsed. Our trade deficits are horrendous, and our budget surplus is a fake (don't count Social Security, Medicare or anything else that is unfunded <g>). 2. Most of the Tokyo market was really great companies selling at stupid levels. Most of the Nasdaq market are garage startups selling at stupid levels (just about any level would be stupid, as many are companies who would not even get funding from venture capitalists if it weren't for the bubble and easy Al) and former growth companies in deep kimshee.

Other than that, they look like similar tops.
