Elmer,

Do you promise to be as enthusiastic about reporting Spec scores after T-Bird becomes available?

Elmer

Do you think that there is any truth to the current rumor that Intel will not make their quarter? And what do you expect their future guidance to be?

Dear Elmer:

Why don't we look at a program written by scientists to do a real job. This is the "Molecular Dynamics" program. An Athlon 1000 Mhz does the benchmark in 36.91 seconds. A Coppermine 1000 Mhz takes 48.82 seconds. The Athlon "Blows Away", (32.27% faster), the Pentium both in real terms and performance / price basis. When doing a real job using same program, Athlon does better.
