I'm simply waiting to see if there is a reply from JXM before going out for a serious brunch, which I crave. The market's been a bitch and I may have unexpected company next weekend, which may, in turn, throw my whole family into yet another permutation for Easter!

I find myself surprised, and disappointed, to be posting to a thread I've never cared for, but the appearance of one (you) who I've enjoyed in the past, participating now in this idiocy, is disappointing, as well.

The original reference to Edgar/Alice was posted to me. I gather it is an excerpt from a book. So what's the deal? People's reaction to Amanda is something that does not surprise me.
