Thanks Poet. You know, from a TA perspective it has been said that a double bottom is a very powerful bottoming formation. The first bottom at around 105 back in Jan. or there abouts with the second bottom forming now. It has also been said that it is good if the second bottom is slightly lower than the first. Thirdly, it is said that if the two bottoms are far apart, even better. I have heard that these patterns can be explosive on the upside. So maybe we do get a lower bottom on Monday (but not too much lower), then maybe some interesting comments on the Tuesday conference call and then, well who knows. Whatcha think. Am I just being hopeful, wishful? Any other TA types comments?

TIA
Pinhi

Poet - I own QCOM and wrote ccs which I will be buying back asap on Monday - they were the April 170s/180s worthless now - I then considered selling Q but indeed didn't want this as a taxable event - therefore will be selling ccs again on Monday probably around noon. Looking at the July 140s @ 9+

You really think it will get to 80 this week ! Wow I should consider selling the Apr either 100s or 110s Also sold 5 puts on Q for the Jul 125s - fyi !

Poet, sorry for being a pain in your ass
(very likely not a wide wide ass at that)

I overreacted last week and enjoyed a KeyWest vacation for my troubles
we have all suffered declines recently, some more than others
I do not want to add to your pain or anybody else's
so many people have called me in dire straits

personally, I am ok but shaken up
I also must meet a margin call, but a relatively small one
after liquidating entire CREE and ELON positions, only small margarine call remains

my frustrations extend to my personal life
you came along last week on a particular frustrating evening
I misinterpreted your message to me
I can be such a junkyard dog, as you know
the northern/southern dispute didnt help

welcome to the board
but please take to heart some of my suggestions in the guideline post, even though one of them was peppered with a nasty
show restraint in dispensing advice, if you intend to be truly welcomed
some irritation lingers
so please use good judgment and hear that

/ Jim Willie
