Actually, Friday October 16th, 1987 was no picnic either. I don't have the exact numbers, but I believe the Dow was down something like 200 points (which would've been 8%, more or less). Even worse than yesterday. People were saying over the weekend "it can't get any worse (except for Marty Zweig on WSW..that night he indicated he felt we were in for a crash). Then the smash on Monday. Deja Vu?

I don't know what that clown is talking about.

If he was referring to the 16th, WMT didn't do jack for quite a while afterwards, and the 16th is the only thing that remotely resembles a Black Friday to me.

So many clowns over there are touting JDSU at these 'cheap' levels. WTF? That stock belongs in the 20's. And that's being generous.
