Hi JC - I missed the conference call. Can you fill me in on any of the following:

(1) Did SUNW discuss their backlog? Did it increase or decrease?

(2) VP Zanders was on CNBC for a brief spot and said that analysts can expect a "solid" 25% growth going forward (some analysts even think 30%-35% is achievable); Did management mention what their profit margin was (Software, Hardware & Service)? What about compared to the prior year?

(3) Finally, I know SUNW has partnered with other companies to build a private virtual network that utilizes "black fiber backbone" connections and SUNW servers for data warehouse storage. Was their any discussion in their conference call on either (1) the status of their storage business or (2) plans for further development of their private virtual network Services? IMO, this will be big for large enterprises data centers and very profitable for SUNW too.

Thanks ...

EKS

Dear JC: 'low hanging watermellon'
Just what does that mean? I have a non financial connotation to the above. JDN

Sounds to me like Scott needs to visit a watermelon orchard.
You've got to pick those low-hanging melons before they drop and smash themselves on the ground.
