One good thing to come out of the TeraBeam hype will be the increased pace of negotiating roof rights to tenant buildings. Since TeraBeam supposedly can bypass building owners, building owners will have to streamline the process and probably reduce roof rental rates in order to try and maintain some cash flow from this current income source.

Obewon:

I am wondering where you were when during the
summer of 98, almost all CLECs lost 75%+ of
their value in 2 months. If a category of investor
is really well prepared for the current period, it's
all the CLEC veterans of the Summer of 98. I won't forget
Winstar going from $45 to $10. If my memory serves
me right ARTT went from $17 to about $3 during this
time frame. When severe downturns hit, they look quite
frigthening, but ultimately fundamentals always prevail.
