Bob, I don't remember ever liking CF. Are you sure about that.

Anyway, a lot of Asian CEFs look cheap. Pakistan, India, Phillipines, etc. There are two schools of thought here. The first says that if the US economy is in trouble, then the economies in these countries are in trouble. I disagree with that. The economies in Latin America would be death on a stick, but these small Asian countries sell to Japan and themselves and Europe. The other school of thought is that if people stop buying US stocks and escape with what they have left, they may actually buy cheap assets this time around instead of the world's most overpriced crapola. And that bodes well for these down and out countries. I subscribe to that concept and also like SOA and AFF for the same reason, perhaps even more in the case of SOA.
