I lost 20 pounds in six weeks on this one, even though I cheated during it:

SlimFast in a.m.
Burger or sandwich for lunch (no cheese)
SlimFast for Dinner

Drink as much orange juice as you want

Occasionally substitute fruit or veggies for one of the SlimFasts.

Oh, yeah, and try to run at least 20 or 30 miles a week.

If you don't cheat you can lose a pound a day, but you'll feel run down after 4 days if you don't cheat a little.

Hi Clappy, On your diet question:

I think the healthiest is the 40-30-30...40% Carbohydrate, 30% protein and 30% fat. Balanced diet. Believe it or not Wendy's chili is balanced also their chicken sandwich and a shrimp cocktail. You can buy the book at Walmart, I think.

"The 40-30-30 Fat Burning Nutrition" By Joyce and Gene Doust, very healthy diet especially for diabetics.

I do not think Adkins is healthy.
