OT: JDSU (the CSCO of optical fiber) is one of the techs I'm watching. 52 week high = 159, 52 week low = 13, close = 79 5/8. I may get interested near 40. BE CAREFUL ALL. Compared to JDSU with an annual revenue 673 million and a market capitalization of 57 billion. For GM price to sales is .3 For JDSU price to sales is over 60 The difference of course is growth and the future. GM is being regarded as a future buggy whip or at least a cyclical while JDSU is the future and on the leading edge. Well folks, wouldn't it be ironic if just days after Allan "Macho Man" Greenspan made his famous "100 year flood" speech, he has to reprise his '87 "The Fed stands ready..." speech. Asian markets getting bombed, after market US futures prices in free fall. Gotta hand it to ole Allan, his timing couldn't be worse. All in favor of a rate hike say - AYE. :o{ Bang the gong and bring out the hook. Greenspan bombed, big time. Time for a new speech writer, I'd say. Were's ole Arthur Burns when you need him?
