What makes so Kudlow so insidious is how cogent his arguments sound to the uninformed, with his witty repartee and his calm manuerisms. Kudlow is unmatched in his ability to state an erroneous case so eloquently.

What are the chances of the dollar collapsing? That seems like a disaster scenario to me, with the fed being forced to push up rates to slow import inflation even in the face of a slowing economy. Seems like a surefire recipe for a nasty recession.

I agree that Kudlow will never get the job. Just wanted to point how how a guy like this spouting ideas that would have been considered off the wall a decade agao is taken seriously by so many. Just another symbol of how crazy things have gotten.

Last week was neither particularly good or bad for me. I lost my shorting nerve a few weeks ago so was not short. On the other hand I was not long either except a modest position in gold stocks. But I'll bet lots of folks wish that they had had a week like I did.
