The gold market in relation to US equities is 15-20 times smaller than it was in 1979-80 when gold surged pass $850. We certainly don't have the same inflation we had back then, but we do have a crisis. And with much more dollars searching for value, we could see a much bigger rally in precious metals than we saw in 79-80.
