petz, still hope for today:)
AEX opened substantially down from fridays close, nothing unexpected tough, reversed its movement early in in the morning, then started rising slowly. Right now (early noon, 13:48 dutch time) is almost flat to fridays close (maybe a couple of points lower). Expect it to continue rising until america wakes up , nasdaq will drag it down again and might make aex close with a loss. Nasdaq will hopefully also rise ,...but looking at asia right now I do not dear to make any statements on paper here. Europe is strong tough, amd climbing to fridays close and higher on german exchanges.

Petz,

<This was in response to Kash's reporting that a "major Naz company" might "miss.">

Intel stock took a pretty sharp dive in the last couple of weeks. Niles and Kumar have not upgraded Intel before earnings even with a depressed stock price. I wonder if the packaging rumor was out on the street before it got on to this thread.
