Bear mkts like 1973-74 don't usually occur with the Utils having as much relative strength. Could be money looking for safety??

John, What do you make of the rising interest rates...? Utilities are under different pressures today with deregulation and growth models. But I believe this area of investment will return to favor due to exhaustion and the relative security that everyone needs to use their products and they produce dividends, etc. There may even be evident growth in some players as the field gets shaken up.
