John, another good day! Strong earnings from AOL, IBM, Qualcom, Broadcom etc bodes well for the market. Intel's numbers were decent, just not good enough in comparison to AMD and the resultant expectations for Intel. The QQQs are at 93 suggesting we have at least 1 good day left this week. MSFT could really help things out for next week by reporting strong numbers on Thursday. I dumped the 80 BRCM calls that I bought last Friday. I'm looking to close my 80 QCOM calls [bought yesterday] tomorrow. But I'll keep the other 120 leap contracts. I figure QCOM has excellent upside potential particularly with the Nokia deal not too far away. I'm waiting for the IDC PC data for Q1 soon. This will tell us whether or not DELL's had a good quarter. I suspect a decent quarter - 3.55 million units and a 18 cents eps vs 16 cents consensus.
