RE:"Haven't seen Tench or PB on the thread lately. I wonder if they are in their quiet period "

Didn't your hear? Process Boy was promoted to management and says he won't be able to post anymore.

Ten is active...more so on the Slam Bam RAM-BUS thread...

JF, <ML's Osha is still cautious, worried about a price war, at least the last time I heard.>

Didn't that guy just upgrade AMD, despite his fears of a price war?

<Haven't seen Tench or PB on the thread lately.>

PB's a manager now, and he's made a personal decision to stop posting on a regular basis. He told me he might revisit the threads on occasion.

By the way, he's still feeding me inside info on manufacturing. You know AMD's volumes of 10K Athlons at one gigahertz? That was nothing compared to how many gigahertz Coppermines (a.k.a. Gigamines) Intel shipped. That's all for now. (Still can't explain why the GHz Athlon seems to have more visibility in the channel, though.)
