Come one folks!!! If we can't handle a bit of criticism, then we're nothing but a bunch of cheerleaders, and not the stock analysts we're supposed to think we are. The Mrs. and I have held this stock off and on for over a year (since about a week before PA opened his bountiful wallet). The wife loves this company and so do I. But we can't ignore the fact that we're being ignored on the street. And without attention being paid to the quality and performance of the management team we have, the stock suffers a poorer capitalization than it more favored brethren. The result is that all the deals that GNET does in the acquisition arena are more dilutive than they really need to be . Now I'm not saying that Russell and John should be out there making unreasonable claims about the companies potential... but G*D D**mit we have 5 quarters of fantastic revenue growth and profitability to substantiate a good degree of self generated "horn tooting". Now I'm sure that Mr. Fleckenstein has provided very conservative counsel against the flagrant self-promotion we've seen out of the unprofitable, STREET SUPPORTED, internutz, but if our management continues to do themselves and the companies shareholders a disservice by not justifiably being self-promotional, it will continue to cost us money and emotional aggravation. GNET management has proved they can make money on their business model. And now it is time to "go to the mountain" and spread the word far and wide so that we can take this model to an even higher level. This has been a tough company to love due to the unwillingess of management to seek the recognition they deserve. It's like politics... people won't pay attention to you unless you MAKE THEM pay attention. Btw, I do tend to agree with PlayerVermont about the PalmSI feature. It's a great tool, but is not being aggressively marketed or generating the publicity that I think it should. A lot of things are not being aggressively marketed by GNET and I perceive a mistaken belief that all good things come to those who wait and they shouldn't toot their own horn. Well, that may be the case, but that wait ususally winds up costing more money than it has to. The lower this stock price, the more cash that has to be added to "sweeten the pot" with regards to acquisitions. If the street won't cover us officially, then an aggressive grass roots PR campaign needs to be generated so that the public and investors start asking their brokers why they DON'T cover GNET. Just my .02/cents worth on the matter. Regards, Ron
