How do you want to search the data, based on a percentage decline over a week, say

I think that the time frame is rather less important then the percentage decline from a significant high -- probably any decline over 15% should qualify. Thereafter, one would have to look for the extent of any rally from the low -- as a percentage -- before either a retest of the low or a lower low.

If you have the same information on the NAZ that would be helpful.

One would have to ignore the '98 rally after the surprise rate cut because it took off from that point. I see that Carpino says that there are still cycle lows in the offing for April -- he also has one of his bands at 2800 on the NAZ so we see that number coming up using different measures. I am not much good at forecasting price targets whether on the downside or the upside for that matter.
