You are now discussing abortion. So were you. You are just a good debater and hid it under the guise of " government intrusion" . I always find it interesting when one chooses to hide behind that government intrusion when in fact it took government intrusion to get a law making it legal to kill the children, all the while called them "fertilized eggs" and "fertilized ova " . Makes it easier to dispose of that way. Becasue if one had to say "I disposed of my baby today", conscience might get in the way, you think? Get over the myth that this is government intrusion. No one is listening to Joan Baez music anymore. You let government tell you what to do every day of your life, and protecting children is part of it and should not be a problem. Would you do anything different if oh, lets say half of those children being forced onto buses were machine gunned for the convenience of the female teachers who have over crowded classrooms? Would you try to protect them then?? OH YOU SAY THEY ARE VIABLE?? DID YOU HAPPEN TO NOTICE DURING THAT SURGERY ON TV WHEN THE CHILD IN THE WOMB, ONE OF THOSE FERTILIZED EGGS, AS YOU CALL THEM, GRABBED THE SURGEONS FINGER????who want to force your own ideas down everyone's throats Do you even grasp any of what has been shoved down the throat of people in the last few years? Just the very fact that you consider childrens protection as conservative government intrusion makes my case whole. And makes me sad for you. even unto standing between a woman and her doctor, even unto forcing women against their wills to gestate fertilized ova until they become infants. And you say I don't know how you stand on the killing of babies, oh excuse me....prochoice.. Bullpucky! How very sweet and innocent you make this sound. I say, "Tell those women what you think We do more than that partner. We support out crisis pregnancy center here and we invite women to live in our home during their pregnancy if they need to.Your sarcastic, sneering... perfectly captures for me the smug spirit of the simplistic conservative stance toward this profound social, philosophical and moral issue. E, to tell you the truth, how I treat pregnant unwed mothers to be, is not at all how I talk here. Here, the debate itself seems to be most satisfying to you people. That don't do it for me. I can't leave it at the door and go to another room and start debating cooking squid or some such crap. I can't call saving a baby, "government intrusion" or "your brand of religious morality" and let it go like so much garbage. I show up and start defending life when you start defending prodeath. You are right about one thing. I have laid too much just on the women. Men are more than responsible. And I have in the past publically called them sissies and skirt hiders and everything else with not much reaction on their part. I realise my manner is not all spit and polished, I find it hard to be when one speaking of disposing of babys like old purses. But , if you have ANY doubt about our "choices" desensitizing our kids, just look at abortion as ONE issue helping the cause. If we as responsible adults don't give a rip about life....especially young life, why should they?? So you just go on with all the elite and debate some more. dan
