While I have NO clue why you are fascinated with my panties, I can easily dispute your latest silly utterance: you said: "...if you have gold bars they are heavy, difficult to move around -" HORSE PUCKEY!!!

I was in my favorite refiners just last week. While I was there being waited upon, the wrought iron gate opened and a nice looking oriental chap walked in to pick up his order.
He opened the plain kraft colored envelop, about half the thickness of a package of cigarettes, slipped the 30+oz kilo bar out briefly and let its golden beauty slip deliciously back inside the small, unmarked envelop.

Then he reached into his BULLLLLLLLGING pants pocket and pulled out a WADDDDDDDDD of bills, seen only in gangster movies, and counted out over $10,000 in circulated but crumpled up paper.

I did NOT notice him particularly listing starboard from the small envelope AND contents in his shirtpocket as he left.

No, Double D, gold bars are NOT heavy and difficult to move around. And neither are diamonds, emeralds etc. Only some out of touch, never had held one or seen one in his entire life would even utter that nonsense.

Oh, and regarding my stock in GM? Well, IT sits in my driveway, and is NOT difficult to move around either, silly!

And since I can't drive a "GM stock certificate" why in the world would I want to own a piece of THAT bricks and mortar?

Nope, give me small, compact, thin, beautiful 30+oz goldbars anyday of the week, or a single, flawless 4+carat, G1 diamond any day of the week over phoney phiat.

Until you actually have a houseful of them, I suggest you not worry about "moving them around." I'm certain ALL your best SI buddies would be glad to come over and help you move them ANY where your little heart desires should that ever become necessary.

Ole "told you so" /49r

Is your fungible gold/silver funky needing a fumigation ?

"To have and to hold."

It's 11 p.m. - do you know where your gold/silver is ?

... if you bought silver or gold in paper or certificate form,
and your counterparty can't honor the transaction
... you have a problem.

... can announce out of the blue,
that it is bankrupt and cannot honor its obligations
who can be trusted?

... do you think a bank or insurance company can ?

Check if you bank's FDIC protection coverage also
covers any silver or gold certificate you purchased
from this bank. But then if you do not know, then
you did not read the terms and conditions of the sale,
and you is primed for investment into Brookyln Bridge Inc.

... do you think a company like Barrick Gold ABX
that produces huge amounts of golden toilet paper
can wipe off the crap from the recycled paper
and pass it off as new ?

You ask "What recycled?"

I answer "Well, remembered that golden toilet paper
you ordered from Barrick and decided to have it remain
at the Barrick Area 51 location ?

Well, guess what!

And yes, your guess is as good as mine
or the place on the map the blindfolded donkey
placed the pin.

Yes, all guesses are as good as the last,
as all equate to the same destination,
to NNL or NWL.

NNL - Never Never Land
NWL - No Where Land

What can you do about it?

Quietly ask for your paper gold/silver
to take the route to physical,
but before it goes pass GO
have it checked for authenticity,
and then unfungible it
so that
"to be or not to be"
is not a question needing to be asked.

"To have and to hold."
is better stated as
"To have and be able to hold."
rather than
"To hold only golden toilet paper not worth crap."

"A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush."

"A gold/silver bar in hand is worth something,
while that in the bush as a piece of paper may
or may not be that used toilet paper
left by another who took the route to physical."

"To d or not to d is not a question, but a warning."

Gotta agree with ole49r,....I would much rather have the gold bar, diamonds and emeralds in my hand than a bunch of paper. It's a physical thing,...like sex,...and art(gggggggggggggggggggggg).
