Sorry clueless, it wasn't the NYTimes, as you erroneously reported. >>What? It's a newspaper, that's how they get NEWS. Unlike you, they can't just make it up as they go. The NYPost took a quote from one disgruntled man and then the "reporter" came to that conclusion. Two people hardly make reality. It's frightening that you have so little analytical ability.

Pandora's Box? This case is very dangerous..thus the delay and requirement for further dissertation. If this case is won..it will provide the ways and means for any child who arrives in America from anywhere on Earth under any means to claim political asylum. Think about it.A family from another country arrives in America and their child runs away( supposedly) and says " I don't want to return to ___________,because they are __________ there. The precedent set by this case( if won) will allow a full oral hearing.If the parent/custodian wanted that child to live in America for what ever reason,they could simply agree that the country they are from is________________ and the child automatically becomes an American.OR they say,no we speak for the child..but the court says..no you don't! Is America prepared to accept ANY and ALL children from anywhere on Earth on any given day under those circumstances?They cannot excuse this as a special circumstance,not if the law of the land is non discriminatory. Consider this..a legal smuggling operation of children from all over the World based on the outcome of this case!! PS: No...Canada wants no part of this..thank you. PPS: Sorry if this interrupts the ongoing intelligent analysis.<g>
