OT: My own opinion of "isomans" post.. I'm sorry Ms Rosa Parks, but the rules say you have to sit in the back of the bus! The hell with the rules Ms Parks says, I'm going to sit right here, the rules are wrong. She was right, the rules were wrong, they were not laws. And the rules were changed by people speaking out, and saying that they were wrong. Have a good one Lee, I'm off for the weekend, don't worry I'm not going through Boston. <gg> Rg

..but it also reminds me of government's and banana republics that don't give a darn about their citizens. Yes, but SI is a private site..not a democracy. Seems to me Bob thought that the java popup might trick some newbies into giving up their password. I on't know Jenna, don't know what the membership thing as about, but it seems to me, he suspended her, just long enough so she would know she was suspended, because he wanted her to know why he didn't want the popup. Maybe if he had just nuked the popup, she might have thought it was an SI glitch and put it back. This way, the pop up is gone, Jenna knows the reason why, she still posts... \by the way. I know plenty of people who lost family in WWII to the Nazis... There are things happening on the planet similar to that, but SI isn't one of them. KOSOVO maybe... Internet chat thread...come on. I know a guy, Whinberg, the Nazis forced him to be the person who pulled the lever for the chlorine gas, in a concentration camp. one day he looked into the window, and his wife and kids were in there. He refused to pull the lever, they put a gun in his mouth nd said pull it, or we'll get someone else. he didn't pull it. The Nazis didn't kill him, instead them pressed his face to the window and made him watch. Years later he remarried, has two sons. I knew him for quite awhile and he never mentioned this, until one day, a bone head teacher in Edmonton Aleberta, Canada started teaching his students that the Holocaust never happened, that it was a hoax.. I was there when Whinberg lost it completely. More than 50 years later and he still goes to therapy. Still think SI is like the Nazis. It really bugs me when people compare censorship (or what they perceive as censorship, saw last night people are mad that Chicago made it illegal to possess simulated child porn, made with a computer, not actual real photos...) to the Nazis and their book burnings...
