Thanks h I agree with your comments. ABX appears to me to be the bluest of the gold chips, however as you point out you pay a bit for for the security.
Right now its tough to find safe areas to open new longs, however for longs, I've allocated a portion to pdx and a couple of undervalued small caps......(going for 1/2-2/3 book with upside), however I've got the other 75% in cash.

I had thought that earnings would provide a floor on the tech stocks. Yet we had SNDK announce a blow out quarter with the highest level of backlogs and the stock goes down.
Though I am the ultimate technology bull , this kind of
stuff makes me uneasy.
