SBA = Side Band Addressing. Available only with AGP.

In PCI transfers, you have to send the address first on AD0-31 of the PCI bus. The data shows up a lot later.

With SBA, there is a set of independent sideband address lines which allows the AGP adapter to queue up address lines and requests (up to 8). This allows AD0-31 to be used to transfer data only at 'full-throttle'.
