Mad2, I agree with every assumption you make my problem lies on the fact that the US trade deficit of around 300 billion a year average sustaining other economies. I also agree that China, Indonesia and India apx 2.3 billion people can put a squize on natural resources but what worries me is the US market and the chilling effect it may bring on the world economies. There is no question in mine mind that gold over a 5 year period will be an excelent investement but my stock investment thinking frame is 2 to 3 months, With gold and silver I am in a show me mode.
