Big Dog, hello, It looks as if things are heating up with OKIOC. There is word of cautious smiles among the operator's privy few (ultra-tight hole status) as well as the beginnings of posturing at high levels and the appearance of foreign heavyweights on the scene.... slb.com slb.com slb.com The prize is the multi-billion barrel structures which, up until now, have been untested. The impact for Parker will probably be muted - they are pretty far in the hole with this rig, with the enormous modification costs they incurred. However, reading between the lines, I would think that the Caspian in general will be a busy place in the coming year.
