TC,

Do you typically stay in a position through the weekend?

Ken

Are markets open tomorrow? I'm a bit out of the loop here...I've got a 3 day weekend, but will be away from the computer.

TC.

TC, check out SLR, its in a strong uptrend, consolidating after reporting record earnings, not sure if it meets your criteria, thanks.

PS: just came across this thread, its an interesting strategy, will hang around to learn more.

Hi Thomas and all on this thread

I ran across this great thread and started reading some posts and found this strategy very interesting. Although I've read and heard about ma crossovers, I've never utilized this technique in trading. Looking at your most recent trade:

SCH closed its short for a small loss (0.25). It is now long from 44.5

I'm trying to understand what happened. Looking at the hourly chart with a 5 ema/8 ema, it looks like the emas are in perfect overlap since mid 4/19. Shouldn't a long position wait until the 5 ema clearly moves above the 8 ema? Schwab's daily clearly shows a downtrend.

If anyone would like to comment, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sammy
