DOJ hasn't even done much to them yet except cost them some legal fees and aired some dirty laundry. Imagine if the DOJ had actually been awarded and begun to implement a remedy.

This is a credible observation. If the NASDAQ does take another dive before the court's remedy orders, I believe that situation will affect the severity of any remedy. This is the only way MSFT can put any heat on the current environment.
IMO. No position with MSFT.
