No, the dot coms are nothing. I believe there are gross imbalances in the larger investments in capacity that is more mainstream -- almost any where you look.

I work in the utility industry, a very capital intensive industry -- it is so apparent -- generators are being produced at a frenetic rate based on extrapolations in demand that discount everyone moving into a bigger house every 2 - 3 year. I think what I see there is in all the high tech areas as well.

It has been brought about by artificially low rates of interest and (same thing) rapid expansion in the amount of money that can be loaned against the same reserves ... Greenspan and his buddies have put this economy into overdrive. But once the lending stops ...
