Evening Arthur,

Any idea what is causing the mood swing? Too much run up in their respective prices, too little blowout earnings, or maybe too little sensational newsworthy events??

I just got an email from the GG list headed by Geoff Moore that I found a bit disturbing. I don't have all the details, so I don't know if this will have any negative impact. Here it is:

Does anyone know where data can be found regarding CDMA progress in the US?

I thought it interesting, and a touch dismaying, that since SBC bought
Ameritech they are converting all of Ameritech's CDMA digital wireless
network to TDMA, to gain compatibility with the larger SBC network. I have
friends who have to trade in their CDMA phones this month or next for a
shiny new TDMA phone.

Any ideas why SBC wouldn't accelerate CDMA rollout for the larger network
rather than 'demoting' the Ameritech network? Does this indicate SBC is not
planning the go to CDMA?

Cheers,

I sincerely hope this is an aberration to the roll out of CDMA. I will post other pertinent news as I get it.

Joel
