If you read the post to which I linked, you will see that it is a bit more than one paragraph from one website.

Several years ago I read an article which I wish I could find now; it was in an academic journal, and was based on extensive interviews with pregnant teenagers who were seeking abortions. One of the fascinating figures was on the age of the fathers: a huge percentage of the girls had been impregnated by boys (or men) 3 or more years older than they were, a very large number of the fathers were older than 20. Another item of interest was that when asked why they had sex with the fathers of their children, very few cited physical desire as a factor. The most common comments were that they wanted to please the fathers, wanted their approval and attention, which they could only get in one way.

Remembering this, I think it's no coincidence that abortion and teenaged pregnancy rates seem to be so low in countries with a strongly institutionalized feminist presence, despite a relatively permissive sexual ethic. Whatever you think of the feminists, there is no denying that they do emphasize that women - and girls - are valuable and deserving of respect for what they are, not for what men think of them, and that women should not value themselves only for their ability to inspire desire in the male of the species. Feminists also preach that women have the right to say "no" at any time, and that they are responsible for their own behaviour. In this way, the feminist ideology does provide a significant counterpoint to the pervasive sexuality of MTV, movies, and barbie dolls.
