I'm not Long Microsoft.. But I remember how chaotic the onset of pc's were for both the business and home markets.. At the time Apple was not taking a leadership role, then IBM stepped up to the plate with their pc's, leading the way for pc software leadership.. Microsoft took that role handsomely! The company brought uniformity and cohesiveness to the pc software business, without which the tremendous growth that has been achieved would not have been.. I think the world owes a debt of gratitude to this company for the market advances made as a result of their leadership.. I'm not saying they were not a monopoly, but it helped advance the economy, and the govt should back off, this was real progress.. End of my 2c.. >><<
