Hi V-man! Oh yeah, it's a buy, along with so many other things, right? I said..... RIGHT!?

Well I tell ya, these great earnings coming out yet nuttin'.
I am still thinking that JDSU's numbers and conf call are going to be so good that they will buck the trend of selling off.

Not much will be holding the market up after the next couple of weeks after earnings from the top quality ones doesn't look like. But, I still remain bullish on the top techs.

OK, it's time to say it..... how 'bout that JDSU! BUy buy buy...

Rick

V...I've begun establishing a position in NTAP this past week and I noticed you mentioned you were buying NTAP calls. Are you playing NTAP merely for the quick bounce and if so have you already sold those calls?

I know you're still partial to Q but in recent months I have lessened by exposure to the Q and have been looking at other fallen angels that may perhaps have better prospects ahead.

NTAP to me is one of those fallen angels. Obviously due to NTAP's size it is much easier for them to grow revenues at 100% a year v.s. a company like Q that has over $4B in annual revs.

It also appears that NAS market is growing like a weed and NTAP is getting the lion's share of it right now. I'm sure EMC has not and will not concede the NAS market to NTAP but it does appear that NTAP has the most cost effective solutions not to mention the best products.

I'd appreciate your thoughts as well as anyone else that might like to add to the NTAP discussion.

Thanks.

V re: QCOM ; I would be interested in your strategy for QCOM during the next few months.

I assume that you would write ATM CCs ( i.e. $110 ) for May

Why not buy puts or cash out completely and take the money to buy other stocks that do not require big news to move?

Do you think that Qualcomm will continue in a trading range until later this year or what will change the situation:
( i.e. NOK, AT&T, China, Market environment, ... ).

Just Curious, it seems a lot of posters are bearish on QCOM in the short term and some have posted possible lows of $60 during the next decline.

What is your opinion?

TIA,

David

Hi Tom,

You won't believe this, but doing a bit of detective work, I found where my clubs were sold. They are all still there except for the driver. The Alpharetta police will pick them up and transfer them to the Roswell police and then ultimately back to me. Will have to get a new driver, but what the hell.

Later,

Joel
