Dennis - That one worked. I don't think I ever heard the whole album, but from the clips, I was surprised at how many of the tunes were familiar. His ballads, in particular, have a timeless quality - they sound as fresh today as they did 30 years ago.

I do remember The Nazz album, though. It was one of the most-listened to albums among my friends in high school - along with Jefferson Airplane's Surrealistic Pillow and Pearls Before Swine's Balaklava. I still think Hello, It's Me is one of the great pop songs of the last 35 years.

Another album I didn't listen to at the time but came to like years later is this one:

hi dennis,

that link worked fine. you know, for whatever reason, i just never got into todd rundgren. which is not to say that i disliked him. kinda' like i never got into the moody blues the way a buddy of mine did. he still goes to every show when they play atlantic city!

my wife saw rundgren not too long ago when he came thru town with ringo and his all-star band. i think she told me that rundgren had a leather skirt on. that sound like him? <g3>

i know he's well-respected by many in the industry.

:)
