I have lots of stuff to try, now. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I'll get my tech computer geek buddy right on it.

I don't remember who posted the reference to video drivers, but I'm betting they are on the right track!

I would:

1. Check with your video card maker for updated video drivers (usually go to their web site and download/install).

2. Reduce your color depth (try 256 colors).

You'd be surprised how many "problems" are rooted in software's interaction with the video drivers!

IMHO,

Mike

>>I have lots of stuff to try, now. Thanks for taking the time to respond.<< Mysterious system freezes or misleading boot up error messages such as "cannot find xyz.vxd" diver or "error on line 6 config.sys" may mean there is simply no room left in resource memory for basic access to system drivers.

P.S. Certain highly profitable utility programs which promise to fix problems and speed up your system are the biggest culprits in slowing down systems and causing problems. This is especially true for more complex systems of peripherals and apps which need a piece of the resource memory.

canuck, you can see by this post that PEWD has been around for quite awhile. IMO, an outstanding display of customer support by TRAC. How many other OLB's would try to assist customers on the internet; outside of official channels?

ask us in the public chat channel, we'll work through it with you. view/topics contains all plan pricing details.
entitlements/features and entitlements/exchage contains all feature and exchange pricing options. hosts are more than happy to explain any questions.
the bill does in fact include a note on the bottom of the bill if it thinks you will benefit from a plan upgrade, in terms of pricing options.
we do not engage in bait and switch tactics, and i resent the implication that we do.
i also find the profanity in prior posts offensive.
