Tom,

Question.....looking to gain some leverage without losing shares. What do you think about the CMGI Jan 2001 50's ?

They are going for about $22. I was thinking of selling the stock long and picking up the calls and getting a few more for my $$'s. CMGI currently at $57, the premium means I would be paying $72 a share in January. Thats only $15 above current price, and I have 8 months to let this market do what it's gonna do. I would imagine if we get a late year run, cmgi would be considerably higher. What dom you think? My reasoning is twofold. I dont want to worry about the next few months and possible downside volatility, while at the same time, I love the stock for the long haul and this would enable me to control just as many or more shares, while freeing up a little leverage to maybe pursue something else, like NTAP if it dips.

Your thoughts are greatly appreciate.....happy easter

Keith
