I think Kaiser and Bishop are good for the industry - However let me add in my comments on what has become fo them as a result of their popularity and.

I call it the self fulfilling prophecy - such as some of teh stock GURUS and stocp icking letters.

Kaiser for example suggests Stock X is a buy - Since Kaiser had such a huge subscriber base those people bought the stock and it went up and likely estab;lsihed a new support level. Kaiser then gains some creidbility and suggexts Stock Y and of course the same thing happens.

IT is simple economics - A demand has been created that will push the supply demand out of equilibrium and the stock goes up.

Many of the GURUs and pickers in the ststes felt they were somehow so smart - It was only a function of their following.

Having said all that - kaiser and Bishop should be grouped with the others I refer to as they were never consciously or maliciously recomeending stocks to drive them up as a P&D like the P&D artist pickers.

ALL my point is that a part of their perceived success is a function of their popularity. I also think they provide a good laymans view of mining and allow uds to beter understand what is going on.

Newsletters are not a bad thing but my entire point is a gentle caution on price action.

I am very long on this play

I hear you Bob. I am very careful, and do my own DD. I pretty much do my own picking. I just use all sources for leads and ideas. I also watch the mkt's read the Northern Miner and talk to my friends. Chris Bunka used to be associated with Kaiser I think. I never did read the guy.
