A true story ...

My mother told me about her experience in church one morning. The minister had the children come to the front for a children's story. He began handing out cookies, giving two to each child. From the size of the box and the number of children it was obvious he didn't have enough to go around. He ran out. He began talking about how sometimes in life people have more than they need and others have nothing. As he talked, the man next to my mother began stretching to see if his child would share. Other parents were also keenly interested to see if their kids would share too. Many kids with two cookies began giving a cookie to kids without. Finally, the minister concluded his message and sent the children to their own service. As the kids came down the aisle, the son of the man next to my mother held up both hands, a cookie in each and shouted "Daddy! I've still have MY TWO."

Cheers, PW.
