BRAVO, BRAVO TSO/dlo may the curse of the 1000 tripe fall upon Hays head <ggg>.

Well at least it's unanimous looks like the NAZ has nowhere to go but down from here.

What stks. do you see over extended the most? How far are you looking for them to fall and how fast?

When the NAZ crash is over what do you plan on buying and at what prices.? TIA.

I appreciate your NAZ charts and comments.

Al

Hey Duane:

Well said. Forever bears (Barton Biggs comes to mind) are now saying see, I told you so; but they're only right four weeks out of the last five years. I don't think so.

E: I take it back---you're a soft 2' tall cuddly teddy compared to Polar Bear Hayes.

So what's the consensus here? You all are definitely yanking MY chain. E's the most negative I can remember; DLO says monthly improving but weekly looks bad...interest rates up...economy slowing...all tech earnings great but stocks still decline...How can we best position ourselves?

Fifty % cash at a minimum seems good. But if we're to go short, we need to do it soon. I'd like to ride it both ways but I'm not much practiced to the down side.

E and DLO, thanks for the charting; that's certainly my week area and you help keep me on top of things. Let's see what tomorrow brings. Seems like every week I say to myself, this will be the week that tells the tale...

Duane,

Thanks, I didn't know that. I also think corrections are buying opportunities, but I admit to being green as they come where crashes are concerned. I haven't even read any of the books about crashes.

So, with little to no experience, all I have left are my charts and they are saying "yikes!" Individual stocks and broad averages don't break their 200 day moving averages easily and repeatedly, unless things have been overvalued for at least the past 200 days. So, I guess now we will have to see what new valuations the market puts on itself.
