"Any of you ignorant "primates" (a quote from one of your supporters) want to match IQ's with me then please feel free."

Why would anyone aspire so low? (vbg)

>You and your nazi brethren

Huh, we are all communist Nazis now?...LOL

>I consider myself a moderate and yet things like this make me glad I am a registered republican.

Personally, I am ashamed to declare that right now. Did you see the sponsor of the fainter and the drunk in Capitol Hill holding the pink egg?

>How many nasty situations and raids gone bad have there been over the last 8 years.

This one was so clean and so fast that it will be used as a case in training agents how to properly conduct such raids so successfuly!

>Get a life and a brain and see this for what it is, a politically motivated power move.

I have a life and a brain thank you very much. Elian should have been reunited with his daddy a looooong time ago instead of being abused and paraded in front of the media and lunatics for over 6 months by people who should feel lucky their heads did not get cracked and they are still at large.

>How about peacefully knocking on the door and asking for the child!

Excuse me??????????????And you want me to have a life and a brain????????Hello?????where have you been???????Hello?????

>And it is equally as pathetic to defend the AR carrying goon who held his gun on the child and the original rescuer.

That guy deserves a promotion for his professionalism!

>Any of you ignorant "primates" (a quote from one of your supporters) want to match IQ's with me then please feel free.

Why are you trying to match something you are obviously short of?

One of the SI "primates"<ggggggggg>

Perhaps you would have liked to volunteer to knock on the door and ask for the child? And perhaps you would have gotten him or, just perhaps, you would have been met by a shotgun blast. I'm sure a heartfelt apology from Janet Reno to the widow and children of Volunteer INS Officer O'Berry would be all that would be needed after that. Hmmm...what would she say? "Well, Mrs. O'Berry, as you know, I got some terrible press after Waco, and I knew I'd get more if I sent armed men into the Gonzalez household. So we decided to risk your husband's life so I could avoid criticism. Sometimes federal officers such as your husband have to lose their lives as an illustration of what can go wrong when we misjudge whether or not there is a potential for violence. You can bet the next time I'm urged to send unarmed officers into a potentially violent situation, I'll hold up a picture of the late Mr. O'Berry."

No, apparently, there were not armed. We know that now. No one knew it beforehand. Or do you so hate Clinton/Reno that you don't give a whit about federal officers with spouses and children who for small pay could get their heads blown off if not fully prepared for the worst?

Wow, Delay is as dumb as Armey. Why does Texas have such stupid politicians? Is Dubya this dumb? Scary.

``This is a frightening event, that American citizens now can expect that the executive branch on their own can decide on whether to raid a home,' said House Republican whip Tom DeLay of Texas.

How could he not know this? Incredible.

Answer, Yes if a court will grant a warrant (aka "reasonable cause"). The Executive branch is charged with the power to enforce our laws. See U.S. Constitution Article II. Your power, Rep. Delay, is to create laws. The courts are charged with interpreting those laws. What a mo-ron.

If you're so smart please explain why Elian's relatives were keeping him in a closet and why that tattooed man was in there caressing him when the INS agents found him.

You and your nazi brethren can go on and on about how the boy belongs with his father but the fact is that this has all been politically motivated from the start. I consider myself a moderate and yet things like this make me glad I am a registered republican.

Statements and thinking like that makes me glad you are a registered Republican too.

David: You certainly are an arrogant, naive 29 year old. You do realize that the "relatives" were asked for weeks to give-up Elian, don't you? You probably don't read, but there has been a lot of T.V. coverage. What have you heard from the fisherman, crying/lying first cousin or the "I wish I had my gun" great uncle that gives you any confidence that they would ever have handed-over Elian? Why didn't they do so as soon as the father arrived in this country? Go ahead Mr. IQ. Your turn!

Moderate at what? Hysterical hyperbole. Nazi's?
"How many raids have gone bad?"
I don't know but isn't that the nature of the beast. You tell me.

How many blunders does the military make in battle. Blunders are the norm not the exception. Fridays raid was complete success. I guess if the agents who put their life on the line knew the AP guy was there they would have asked for an invitation. This is no ordinary family, i'll say that. They planned for the raid.

I almost hope Bush wins. Then he can take the heat for all the blunders he'll make.
