Yep. Guilty of the arrogance. It comes from my profession. Hmmm. Read? What's that? Was that before the internet. GMAFB Naive? Nope. The fact remains reclaiming the child could have been achieved by simpler and better means. You cannot tell me that 10 federal officers at the door would not have claimed the child with little or no resistance. These people were not gun freaks with a compound. They are US citizens with a home and rights. The fact that the feds could take action and did is beside the point. It is a point of personal liberties and the goverments willingness to lower the boom with a vengeance. Legally they were right, but from a civil societal view, what was achieved? Ok. We now see that you can storm homes and point guns at US citizens! Thanks for the infomercial on what not to do in a free country just because you can.

PS. If you think for one minute that the father was here with freedom to do as he pleased then you are mistaken. If that had been the case then he would have come right away.
