It's not just public schools, the perversion of the oath to the United States needs to be returned to it's correct wording and
emphasis.


Mentioning God in the Pledge seems more in line with the wording of the original documents, the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. By your reasoning it would be correct to delete the mentions of God or Creator from these documents to be consistent with "your" view of the separation of church and state. Should children in public schools not be allowed to read these documents aloud because they mention God or the Creator?

Reviewing freedom of religion and church and state issues that the Supreme Court has ruled on should cause you few worries.
