Yeah right, except the freedom for a moment of group silence, or to say "God" as a part of our pledge of allegiance.

Then we need liberal law to reach into every school house, playground and community center to save us all.

I would like to suggest that there is one situation in which Liberals (do I take this to mean the modern meaning, what the Europeans would call Social Democrats?) have utterly abandoned the freedom of the individual. (Well, not counting such minutiae as taxation, lol)
I refer you to the current debate on "gun control", a euphemism for civil disarmament.
