George - Just curious - Do you get compensated for your picks, directly or indirectly? Do you buy the stocks before you pick them?

George, Can you also tell me if you have ANY common relatives of Richard Gilder of Gilder Gagnon and Howe. Or if you are related to him thru adoption. Thank you, I realize this is somewhat personal but you are quite a public figure and as evidenced again today with AVNX your words move markets and it is only right that these relationships be made public considering the sizeable holdings GG &H had in at least one of your previous picks.

George:

While my Gilder holdings are down in value, I am extremely pleased with the direction that you have pointed me in to do my own homework in the companies that I invest. There are simply too many companies and too many places to put one's money without doing homework and I have not found anybody who does there homework better than yourself.

I'm sure you have your reasons, but I wish that each GG report would come out after US trading hours so that I have at least a reasonable opportunity to purchase new GG stocks before the market opens and after I have time to thoroughly read the entire report.

While I plan on holding my Gilder stocks for the long term, its still nice to buy low! Thanks again George. I am extremely pleased to be an owner of several companies on your list despite recent abberations in their stock price.

George, would you say this statement is true?

If the statement is true, did you let the readers know that you received such compensation?

This time I'm told he got a pile of warrants (or pre-IPO shares), so he has plenty of reason to hype the heck out of it.

Someone also discovered AVNX had a lock-up period with quite a complex list of conditions for early release and they'd met all the requirements except the price wasn't staying over a certain level for the required number of days.

Who do you think came out with a big recommendation just in time to save the day? Even if AVNX had viable products --- and I honestly don't know a thing about them --- I wouldn't buy the stock after a Gilder run-up.
