Harmony Earnings were up 39% from the Decmber quarter;
sharenet.co.za

It is hard to believe that a decade ago there were at least 40 JSE listed gold miners,
now there are basically four: Anglogold, Goldfields, Harmony, and Durban

JCI holds Western Areas shares, but they are scaling down after selling Randfontein to Harmony and letting Placer Dome manage their South Deep project.

My memory may be off, but AV Gold sold Harties to Durban ?

What's left ?? not much in gold ....

... in platinum, however, ......

The thing I would like to see is Gold Fields South Africa, who has a US NASDAQ listing (GLDFY), and only assets consist of Northam Platinum shares do a reverse takeover / name change. It would be nice to have Northam Platinum trading as a US ADR.

7 rand to the dollar, eh ? Not very encouraging, gives RSA gold miners another incentive to take their cash flow and invest it in undervalued Australian firms instead of watching it devaluate further.
